COVID 19 POLICIES & PROCEDURES
BOOKING:
All new patients will be required to have a virtual visit before their in office treatment. This allows us ample time to discuss your health concerns, minimize in-room conversation and to focus your time in the office on treatment.
All existing patients will be booked by email. We have restricted online booking at this time to ensure proper spacing between clients to allow us to thoroughly clean the office between patients.
OFFICE PROCEDURES:
All staff will be screened daily for any health changes and will be required to sign a health declaration that they are fit to work. All staff will wear gloves, masks, eye coverings and scrubs at all times while in the office.
Only one practitioner and one staff member will be in the office on the day or your appointment.
All appointments will be staggered by 30 minutes to maintain social distancing.
Please come to your appointment alone. If you need to be accompanied please let us know when you book your appointment so we can schedule accordingly. If someone does accompany you to your appointment they must wait outside of the clinic during your treatment.
All patients will receive a pre-screening phone call the day prior to all appointments. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms you will need to reschedule your appointment and seek medical advice from your medical doctor :
• New cough • New shortness of breath • New fever, or feel feverish • New chills, or repeated shaking with chills • New fatigue • New sore throat • New loss of taste or smell • New nasal congestion • New muscle aches that are not caused by specific activity such as exercise *New diarrhea that cannot be attributed to another health condition.
If you do not pass the pre-screening you can reschedule your appointment as a virtual telehealth appointment or at a later time when you are no longer symptomatic or have been tested for covid 19. if the in-office visit needs to be canceled. We will be very lenient in regards to our cancelation policy at this time.
ARRIVING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
You will ask you to sign a declaration of health form at the time of your appointment. Masks are required at all times once you’ve entered the building
The elevators will be single use and there will be a lobby/elevator attendant who will call the elevator for you. please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to allow time to take the elevator and be screened before your appointment.
If you are going to be 15 mins late for your appointment you must call. Your appointment may be cancelled if you are late, at the practitioners discretion. Please understand that this type of strict staggering allows us to keep other patients and our staff safe.
SCREENING
Patient will be screened before entering the office: Your temperature will be taken using non-contact thermometers. Your pulse and oxygen levels will be checked with a finger pulse-oximeter
**If you have a temp of 100.4 or above and/or a pulse ox below 90mmHg we will need to reschedule your appt once you have seen your medical doctor.**
You will be required to sanitize your hands before entering the studio.
Hand sanitizer will be provided at the screening station. You will be asked to take your shoes off before you enter the studio, we suggest you bring a clean pair of socks with you. We suggest you wear loose-fitting clothing to the office for treatment. If you must undress a sterile, paper draped chair will be provided for you. After your screening you will be escorted to your treatment room by our staff or your practitioner. We will open all doors for you while you are in the studio. After appointment all laundry will be removed with gloves and put in a separate laundry bin to be cleaned. All table paper will be discarded in hands free trash receptacle.
All appointments will require a credit card on file. We will run your payment at the end of your treatment with any additional supplements, herbs, or supplies and email you a copy of your receipt to limit contact as much as possible.
The office and bathroom will be cleaned between all patients.
Your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority. We thank you for your patients as we navigate this new terrain.
